North: Emilienne "Emily" (née De Pauw) -
A resident of Ridgetown, Emily passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Home on November 25, 2023 at the age of 89.
Born in Denderhoutem, Belgium, Emily was the daughter of the late Camiel and Maria (née DeNul) De Pauw.
Reunited with loving husband Donald.
Loving mother to Marjorie (Ken) Jones, Darlene McMahon, Loriann North, Mark North, daughter-in-law Sandy and predeceased by sons Bob and Paul North.
Sister to Gus (Betty) De Pauw.
Caring grandmother to Jana, Harley, Arelis and Michelle, Megan and Cassandra, Matthew and Christopher, Jonathon and Casey.
Great-grandma to many.
She will be missed by many friends, nieces and nephews.
Emily was a creative soul who had many crafting hobbies and her knitted slippers will be missed. She was part of the Catholic Women's League, with a strong faith. Emily was a family oriented woman and was always there when you needed her.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Monday, November 27, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 26 George Street, Ridgetown at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. Interment for Emily will be follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, Ridgetown.
Donations made in memory of Emily to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
