Cunningham: Douglas Blake

A resident of Chatham, Doug Cunningham passed away at his home in Chatham on Friday, November 10, 2023 at the age of 79 surrounded by his loving family by his side. Born in Chatham, son of the late Blake Wilfred Cunningham and Dorothy Jean (Oulds) Lucier. Beloved husband for over 62 years to Helen (Bond) Cunningham. Dear father of Ted and his wife Hope (Steele) of London, Lisa MacKinnon and her husband Neil of Blenheim, Mike Cunningham of Chatham, Mark Cunningham and his wife Amber (Smith) of Chatham, and Todd Cunningham of Chatham. Grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of 13. Brother of the late George Cunningham; late Peter Hasson; Shirley Stoner; Bob Gardiner and Della Marie Sullivan. A special thank-you is extended to Jim Dale for his generosity during this most difficult time.

Family and friends are invited to gather at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 10 am until the Memorial Service to celebrate Doug's life at 11:30 a.m. The Rev John Maroney officiating. Cremation with interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Memorial to donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
