Allison: Clifford Wayne -

A resident of Blenheim, Clifford 'Wayne' Allison passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on July 29, 2020 at the age of 68. 

Born in Chatham, Wayne was the son of the late Clifford Allison and Evelyn Eileen (Williams) Butcher and step son to the late Ken Butcher.

Beloved husband of 30 years to Carol Allison (nee Pickering).

Loving father to Heather (Jordan), Stephanie, Melissa (Steve), Jason, and John (Rose).

Proud grandpa to Michael, Jake, Josh, David, Nolan, Austin, and Aiden.

Brother to the late Darlene and brother in law to Ross (Annette), Cheryl (Joe), and Mike (Janice).

Sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Wayne will be remembered by his obsession with sports (especially the Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox), his gentle and helpful spirit, and being a friend to many.

Visitation will take place on Sunday August 2, 2020 at McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park St in Blenheim from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm.  Those hoping to attend are required to register online at https://signup.com/go/jbedWVX or phone the funeral home at 519-676-3451. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that all those attending must wear a mask. 

A private family service officiated by Rev. Bill Terris and cremation will take place at a later date.

Donations made in memory of Wayne to the Chatham Kent Hospice Foundation, Chatham Kent Health Alliance Oncology Department or the Blenheim Youth Bowling League would be appreciated.
