Obituary of Wilma Board

A resident of Chatham, Wilma Board passed away at Riverview Gardens on March 18, 2019 at the age of 94. 

Born in  Harwich Township, she was the daughter of the late David and Elizabeth (Dowd) Wood. 

Loving wife of 56 years to the late Ronald Ivor Board.

Beloved mother to Ken & Pat Board of Alberta, Art & Nicole Board of Kingston, Beverly Kelly & (the late Bobby) of Chatham, Michael & Glenda Board of Erie Beach, and Brad Board & Lorrie Lafleur of Timmins. 

Loving Grandmother to 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Loving sister to Clara Ramsden and predeceased by siblings Harold Wood, Arthur Wood, Gordon Wood, Russel Wood, Alvin Wood, Ethel Prout, and Maurice Malott.

Wilma will be remembered by her many years of involvement as a member at the Blenheim Moose Lodge, TOPS, and the Seniors Club of Blenheim.

Visitation will take place at McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Friday March 22, 2019 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm, and 7:00pm - 9:00pm.  A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Saturday at 11:00am followed by Burial at Evergreen Cemetery.  

Donations made in memory of Wilma to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Liver Foundation, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
