DRAGSTRA, Mary (nee Taal) A resident of Chatham, Mary Dragstra, passed away peacefully at home to be with her heavenly Lord on Friday, April 17, 2015 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Jan 'John' Dragstra (1978). Loving mother of John & Liz Dragstra of Bobcaygeon, Bill Dragstra of Chatham, Rita & Andrew Taffeiren of Chatham, Wayne Dragstra & Kathy McGee of Chatham. Loving Oma to Jason & Estelle Dragstra, Luke & Annie Dragstra, Philip & Natasha Dragstra. Rachael & Brent Middel, Jacqueline & Dan Lundy, Pamela Taffeiren, Andrea Taffeiren. Great-Oma will be forever missed by her great-grandchildren Eva, Maddox Dragstra, Sydney Lundy, Ryersyn, Aayden Middel, Caleb Dragstra. Survived by her brother William Taal of The Netherlands, and sister Gre Post of The Netherlands. Loving Aunt to several nieces and nephews in The Netherlands and in Canada. Mary was an active member of the Grace Christian Reformed Church. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Grace Christian Reformed Church, 255 Tweedsmuir Avenue West, Chatham on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. William Koopmans officiating. Donations in memory of Mary Dragstra to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
