Ball: Douglas Franklin - A resident of R.R # 3 Chatham, Douglas Ball died peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Saturday, April 4, 2015. He was born in Chatham, 87 years ago, son of the late Franklin and Maude (Harborn) Ball. Beloved husband of Mary Kathleen (Anderson) Ball. Loving father of Steven & Carole Ball of Thunder Bay, Brian & Sharon Ball of R.R. # 7 Blenheim, Susan & Montre Koh of California, and Katheryn & Allan Taylor of Owen Sound. Cherished by his 11 grandchildren and one great grandson. Dear brother of Murray & Lillian Ball of R.R. # 3 Chatham, Margaret Simonton (late Bill) of Raleigh Township, and the late Beverly & Marlene Ball, and Donald & Jean Ball. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you is extended to Dr. Kate Bailey, and everyone on the 4th Floor at CKHA for their care and kindness. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
