Obituary of Charles August Perdu

PERDU: Charles. A resident of Chatham, Charles August Perdu died on Sunday March 29, 2015 at his residence. He is predeceased by his loving wife Mildred (nee Fraser). Survived by sons Dan of Belle River, Randy (Janice) of Chatham, Wayne of Chatham, and one daughter Diane (Jim) Brown of Chatham. Fondly remembered by 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. A proud veteran of World War II he served in the Navy on the Giffard a Canadian Corvette class ship which protected the convoys of merchant ships taking supplies and men to Europe. Predeceased by his sister Paula and brother Joe, and parents Maurice and Irma. In keeping with Charles’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown at a later date. If desired, donations in memory Charles to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
