Obituary of Donald M. Richardson

RICHARDSON: Donald M. - Died peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the age of 88. Born in St. Thomas, Don was the son of the late George and Nellie (Plante) Richardson. Beloved husband of 35 years to the late Rose Ann (nee Ritchie). Loving father to Bonnie (Mark Roth) of Chatham. Proud "Grandpa" and "Papa" to Alan Labadie (Jackie), Ken Labadie, Ryan Gow, Shannon Gow and Cameron Bellamy. Great-grandpa to Samantha, Taylor and Sydney Labadie. Predeceased by his brother Carman Richardson (2011). Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be held at 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 52 Croydon St, Chatham at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015 with Rev. Daniel Bombardier celebrant. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations made in memory of Don to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
