Obituary of Braden Michael Russell

RUSSELL: Braden Michael - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Braden Russell, who passed at his residence, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the age of 16. Braden will be deeply missed by his parents Scott and Ginny (Heathcote) Russell and his older sisters Chelsea and Taylor all of R.R. # 1 Charing Cross. Much loved grandson of Betty Lou Russell, the late Cliff Russell (2006) and the late Joe Heathcote (1986). Cherished by many aunts and uncles, cousins and extended family. Braden was in the eleventh grade at Blenheim District High School. He will be missed by his lifelong friends Randy Park, Kevin Gaevart, Liam Sills, Joshua Kostiuk and Matt Ulch. Braden had a great sense of humour and was a known practical joker. One prank of note was when he greeted everyone at church with a hand buzzer. He enjoyed video games, the drums and the camaraderie involved with playing hockey. He had a vivid imagination and was dedicated to bringing his creations to life. Braden always put others before himself, and will be remembered for his exuberance and zest for life. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Private Family Service will be held, with an interment to follow at Pardoville-Union Cemetery.
