Obituary of Jean Gosnell

Gosnell: Jean (nee McIntyre) - A resident of Ridgetown, and formerly of Orford Township, Jean Gosnell passed away at the Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown with her family at her side on Monday, January 19, 2015 at the age of 90. Born in Howard Township, Jean was the daughter of the late William and Zelma (Gerow) McIntyre. Beloved wife to Max for 71 years. Dear mother of Linda Moore (Tim) of Belwood, Brenda Gosnell-Gordon of Hickory Grove and Dr. Robert Gosnell (Leslie) of Belding, MI. Proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Survived by her older sister Ruth Magee of Chatham. Predeceased by her brothers Dr. Warren McIntyre (Dr. Dorothy) and David McIntyre (Freda). Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Jean enjoyed her time with her family at the cottage at Salmon Lake. She was a longtime member of the former Highgate United Church and is currently a member of the Emmanuel Congregational Church in Ridgetown. Cremation has taken place with a private family service to be held in the spring. Donations made in memory of Jean to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated.
