Obituary of Dorothy May Sinclair

SINCLAIR: Dorothy May (Leatherdale) - A resident of Muirkirk, Dorothy Sinclair passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the age of 85. Born in Muirkirk, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Stanley and Lillian (McConnell) Leatherdale and her late step mother Marguerite (Shewberg). Beloved wife of 58 years to the late Carlyle (2009). Loving mother of Stewart Sinclair (Diane) of Cedar Springs, Ted Sinclair (Rose) of Mt. Brydges and the late Cathy Sinclair (1966). Proud grandmother of Jocelyn Rathburn (Jeff), Ian Sinclair, Erin McCord (Kent), Cameron Sinclair and Valerie Sinclair (Kyle Kerr). Great grandmother of Campbell, Jeffrey, Denny and Carson. Dear sister to Donna Young (previously Lutz) of Ridgetown, Betty Emans (late Bill) of Chatham and Bonnie Eberle (Ted) of Rondeau Park. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014 with Rev. Paul Shaw officiating. Interment to follow at Duart Cemetery.
