Patrick, Ethel A resident of Chatham Retirement Resort, Ethel Patrick died peacefully with her family by her side, on Monday December 15, 2014 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Ethel was born in Chatham Township, 86 years ago, on August 8, 1928, daughter of the late Clinton & Edna (Daly) McAfrey. Beloved wife of the late Francis Carlyle Patrick (2011). Beloved mother of Lynn and Tony Horvath of London, Deborah Patrick of London and Michael and Sue Patrick of Chatham. Cherished grandmother of Mark and Matthew (Jenna); Dante; Trevor, Clinton, and Cayden; and proud great-grandmother of 6. Dear sister of Mary Jane Kading of Burlington, and sister-in-law of Donna McAfrey of Windsor. She was predeceased by her brothers Orville and James. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Ethel was a Registered Nurse, graduating from PGH. She nursed there for a number of years, and retired after time spent working with Dr. McPherson at his office. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, on Friday from 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at Gregory Drive Alliance Church, 255 Gregory Drive West, Chatham on Saturday December 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gordon Reynolds officiating.
