MARLATT: Jean (nee Chatterton) - A resident of Blenheim, Jean Marlatt passed away at home on November 25, 2014 at the age of 92. Born in Blenheim, Jean was the daughter of the late Charles and Edna (Worrall) Chatterton. Beloved wife of the late Alve (2011). Loving mother of Delbert Marlatt (Nansi) of Markham and Douglas Marlatt of Blenheim. Proud grandmother of Megan Huppke (Derek), David Marlatt (Diane), Craig Marlatt (Jessica), Scott Marlatt (Jenny) and Mandy Marlatt (Chuck MacLennan). Dear sister-in-law to Gwen Chatterton of Wallaceburg. Predeceased by her brother Roy Chatterton (2001). Jean was skilled at making crafts, enjoying quilting, knitting, and crocheting. She learned to swim at 65, and enjoyed doing so for over 20 years. She bowled regularly for a large part of her life, and loved spending time with her family and friends. Jean was an active member of the Trinity Anglican Church in Blenheim. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2014 with Rev. David Fuller officiating. Interment to follow at Pardoville-Union Cemetery. Donations made in memory of Jean to the C.N.I.B, Canadian Cancer Society or Trinity Anglican Church would be appreciated.
