Obituary of Yula Hough

HOUGH, Yula A resident of Blenheim, Yula Hough (nee Lampard), passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at the Blenheim Community Village. Born 92 years ago on September 21, 1921, daughter of the late Arthur & Myrtle Lampard. Cherished wife of the late William Hough (1987). Loving mother to Dennis & Angela Hough, and Karen Brackett of Blenheim. Proud grandmother to Steven Hough, David & LeeAnna Hough, Darryl Brackett, and great-grandmother to Jett Hough. Always remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Ivan Lampard (Ivy), and Fred Lampard. Yula taught Elementary School for the Lambton-Kent District School Board for many years, she was an active member of the Blenheim United Church, a past member of the Blenheim United Church UCW Unit 6, the Pandora Rebekah Lodge 42 Blenheim, the Blenheim Golden Acres Senior Bowling league and the Blenheim Senior Centre. Yula always thought of others first and enjoyed helping others through her many years of dedication to the Blenheim Ministerial Society preparing and delivering food baskets. Yula’s true passion was to travel whenever possible. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery to follow.
