CAMPBELL: Lyle L. A resident of R.R. 3 Chatham, Lyle Campbell died peacefully on Saturday July 5, 2014 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. He was born in Dover Township, 83 years ago on April 3, 1931, son of the late William John & Emily (Countryman) Campbell. Lyle moved to Harwich Township at a young age, and farmed there his entire life. Beloved husband of 62 years to Doris (Button) Campbell. Loving father of Larry & Susan, David & Margaret, Paul & Janet. Cherished grandfather of Laura & Kevin Poland, Katherine Campbell, Colleen & Jordan Effa, Emily, Emma, Stephanie, and Sarah Campbell. Proud great grandfather of Claire Poland. Dear brother of John G. & Laverna Campbell, Murray & Joanne Campbell, Helen & Gordon Coyle, Maxine & Donald Paxton, and the late Leo Campbell, Allan Campbell, Marion Hutchison, and Gladys Lawrence. He will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Gayle Campbell, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 9, 2014 at St. Paul’s Congregational Church, 450 Park Avenue West, Chatham.
