Michael Alan Cragg Retired Sr. Constable, Ontario Provincial Police A resident of Ridgetown, Michael Cragg passed away peacefully on June 24 with family by his side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 69. Born in Chatham, Mike was a dedicated public servant, serving 31 years with the Ontario Provincial Police until his retirement in 1994. Son of the late George and Edith Cragg. Beloved husband of 46 years to Karen (Derby) Cragg, and devoted father to Tyson (Stacey) of London, ON, and Brett (Katie) of South Portland, ME. Loving grandfather to Russell. Brother of Sandra Cragg (William) of Oliver, BC, and the late Gerald Cragg. Cherished son-in-law of Muriel Derby of Chatham. Fondly remembered by his nephews Scott, Jeff, Barry and Alan. Missed by many relatives, friends, and neighbours. Mike was an avid golfer, devoted fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, and enjoyed summers at his home in Nova Scotia. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street E., Ridgetown on Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Casual attire is encouraged.
