Moynahan, Susan Marie, a resident of Chatham. Susan Moynahan died Thursday May 8, 2014 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 64. Born in Chatham, daughter of Wanda (Grossnickle) Bourdeau, Chatham and the late William Bourdeau (2001). Beloved mother of Christopher (Ann) Moynahan, Ottawa and Colleen Moynahan, Chatham. Dear sister of John (Mary Jane) Bourdeau, Lambton Shores; Bill Bourdeau, Tilbury; Rebecca (Becky)(Robert) Chapple, R.R. #8 Chatham; Margaret (Peggy) (Robert) Wright, Chatham; Paul (Charlene) Bourdeau, Chatham; and Pam Bourdeau, London. Dearest friend of Deanna Kaufman, Chatham. Susan worked for the St. Clair Catholic District School Board for 32 years as a dedicated educator, board consultant and teacher advocate for OECTA. She shared her gifts in the fields of art and music while focusing on the needs of every student including the gifted, special education and grief counselling. Her talents extended beyond her career as an educator into all areas of spiritual healing. She knew through her beliefs in the afterlife, that she would still be supporting us even beyond her passing. Susan was creative, curious and had a lifelong passion for learning. In keeping with Susan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Saturday May 10, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Susan to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Liver Foundation would be appreciated.
