WILLISTON: Clarence Franklin “Clay” – A resident of Chatham, Clay Williston died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 69. Born in Chatham, Clay was the son of the late Donald and Ethel (Parr) Williston. Beloved husband of the late Carol Williston (nee Dawson) (2013). Dear father of Kevin Williston of Windsor and Jeffery Williston of Chatham. Grandfather of Allison & Kyle Williston; Aaron Barron; Shannon, Dustin & Breyden Williston. Great Grandfather of Jeremiah Williston. Brother to Bonnie Chapman of Fraserville, Gary & Barbara Williston of Keene and Glenda & Mike Warren of London. Predeceased by his siblings Verna Blair, Ken Williston and Clarence Tait. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 31, 2014 with the Rev. Alan Knight officiating. Interment Arnold Cemetery. Donations made in memory of Clay to Holy Trinity Anglican Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
