Obituary of John 'Jack' Underwood

UNDERWOOD: John William 'Jack' A resident of R.R. # 3 Kent Bridge, Jack Underwood passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens in Chatham on Monday, May 18, 2015 at the age of 89. Son of the late Adeline (Anderson) & Earl Underwood. Beloved husband of the late Donna Grace (nee Spence) (2013). Loving father of David Underwood and Jennifer Underwood, both of Chatham. Predeceased by his daughter Sharon Underwood. Proud grandfather of Myles, Reanna, Dallas, Dillon and Dalton. Sadly missed by Crawford McNeil. Predeceased by his brother Ted Underwood and his surviving wife Julie Underwood. John was an urban boy, born in Toronto and raised in London. He graduated from the University of Guelph with a background in agriculture. His agriculture interests were beef cattle, the pork industry, and American Saddle horses. He will be remembered by many early graduates of the Ridgetown WOAS (Ridgetown College). Cremation has taken place with a Private Family Service to be held at a later date.
