Obituary of David Brian Campbell

CAMPBELL: Dr. David Brian - A resident of Ridgetown, David Campbell passed away at the London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria Hospital on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the age of 58. Born in Chatham, David was the son of the late Lyle (2014) and Doris (Button) Campbell (2014). Beloved husband of 33 years to Margaret (nee Pearce). Loving father of Emily Campbell (Christopher Haney) of London, and Emma Campbell of Grande Prairie, AB. Dear brother to Larry Campbell (Susan) of Kent Bridge, and Paul Campbell (Janet) of Chatham. Also missed by several nieces, a nephew, and many friends and extended family. David had an active dental practice in Ridgetown for 28 years, retiring in 2010. David was very active within the community of Ridgetown, having been involved with Erie Street United Church and the Kiwanis Club of Ridgetown. He was committed to helping others and was an Honourary Board Member for the Canadian Aid for Chernobyl. In the past 10 years, David made 20 trips to Belarus and initiated an Agriculture Program, including building three greenhouses, a chicken barn and a pig barn. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of David's life will be held at Erie Street United Church, 7 Erie Street North, Ridgetown at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2015 with Rev. Judith Fayter and Rev. William Vanderveeken officiating. Private family interment will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of David to Canadian Aid for Chernobyl or Erie Street United Church would be appreciated.
