Obituary of Fred Hathaway

HATHAWAY: Fred – A resident of Ridgetown, Fred Hathaway passed away at the London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the age of 69. Born in St. Thomas, Fred was the son of Wilma Mae (Frederick) Hathaway and the late Russell Leslie Hathaway (2003). Beloved husband of 48 years to Jackie (nee Travers). Dear father of Les and Brian, both of Ridgetown. Proud grandfather of Freddie (Carly) Hathaway, Tiffany Hathaway of Ridgetown, Brylee Hathaway, Nicole Turner (Andy) and Ariana Mason (Jacob). Predeceased by his grandson Brian Jr. (2004). Great-grandfather of Leyton, Jacob, Owen and Kentten. Dear brother to Frank Hathaway (Linda), Jerry Hathaway (JoAnne), Bill Hathaway(Cathy) and Mary Ellen VanZelst (Andy). Survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends. Fred enjoyed pounding the highways of North America driving truck for over 40 years. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street E., Ridgetown on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:30a.m. Cremation to follow.
