Obituary of Frank Adam Slemensky

 

A lifetime resident of Blenheim, Frank Slemensky  passed away after a long battle with dementia at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance in Chatham  on  January 11, 2023  at the age of 81. 

Born in  Harwich Township,  Frank Adam Slemensky  was the son of Adam and Anna  (Kuban)  Slemensky.

Survived by his Brother, Steve (Linda) Slemensky of Blenheim, ON; Two Sisters, Elizabeth (late.George) Gould of London, ON, Elsie Hill of Windsor, ON; predeceased by Teressa Golob of Blenheim, ON and her late husband Joe.

Frank is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed farming throughout his life; Frank was the third generation of his family to care for their Harwich Township farm.

The family would like to say thank you to all the nurses and staff of the 4th Floor Continuing Care Unit at the CKHA for their compassionate care and continuing support of Frank.  

A visitation for Frank will take place at McKinlay Funeral Homes in Blenheim on Friday January 13th, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Church in Blenheim on January 14th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow afterwards at Evergreen Cemetery.
