Dear Cousins
A quote that comes to my mind, when I think of Aunt Eileen and Mom, is “Sisters are different flowers from the same garden” to which I would add, both beautiful in their own way. Mom loved to tell people she had a sister, and they were only thirteen months apart. She treasured the “To my Sister on her Birthday” cards that your mom gave her, keeping them to read again and again. Each time we were together, Mom always asked how her sister Eileen was doing. She never forgot her sister and the bond of love between them.

I am so sorry for your loss but super blessed to have known this wonderful lady. She spoiled Howie like crazy. When I bake cookies he always says "that is not how Aunt Eileen does it."
We had many adventures and laughs. If it wasn't for Aunt Eileen, Howie might not have gotten that second date. She also represents the second 'E' in BEVEN (Bill, Ernie, Verda, Eileen, Natalie).
