Garlick, Emily Norine - 


Emily Norine Garlick of Blenheim, passed away peacefully in the presence of granddaughters Heather and Stephanie and daughter Judy at the Blenheim Community Village on Thursday February 11, 2021, at the age 89. 


Born in Thamesville, Emily was the daughter to the late Robert and Clara Paul. 


Loving wife to the late George Garlick (2019). 


Beloved mother to Judy (Malcolm) Benson of Rondeau, Pamela (Terry) Bachus of Rondeau, and Paul (Kathryn) Garlick of Bradenton Florida. 


Grandmother to Heather (Scott) MacFarlane, Stephanie Benson, Ashley (Trent) Zimmer, Brett (Mandy) Bachus, and Bryan (Natalie Ramsz) Bachus. 


Great-grandmother of Hillary, Regan, Gracie, Colby, and Liam George. Predeceased by her great-grandson Brody Mac Bachus. 


Predeceased by her siblings Beatrice Coke, Gerald Paul, and June Howes.


Survived by sister in law Ann Faubert.


Emily will be remembered for her contagious smile, time spent at the cottage and trips to Florida, her wonderful butter tarts, and love of all her family and friends.  A special thanks to all the wonderful, compassionate caregivers at Blenheim Community Village.  


Cremation has taken place.

Emily loved the lyrics to Nat King Coles song "Smile" which quotes,  "Smile, though your heart is aching. Smile, even though it's breaking.  When there are clouds in the sky, you'll get by".
