LAPRISE: A resident of Chatham, Connie Laprise passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Monday, June 12, 2006 at the age of 71. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Harriet and William Field. Loving wife of Charles (Chuck) Laprise for 54 years. Dear mother of Ken Laprise and his wife Jeannie of Forest, Krystal Guyitt and her husband Bob of Chatham, and Simone Speed and her husband Mike of Blenheim. Grandmother and Nana to Shawn and Natalie, Sarah and Alberto, Amanda, Jason, Brittany, Matt, Nikki, Stephanie, Amanda, Tom, and Bill and predeceased by grandson David Laprise. Great-grandmother to Ashley Laprise. Sister of Lillian Smith of Chatham and William Field and Fran Wellington of Petrolia. Sister-in-law of Delmar and Joan Laprise of St. Thomas and the late Murray Smith, Florence Field, and Doris and Al Jacobs. Aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. Connie was an Associate Member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 628. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Thursday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Friday, June 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Andrew Nelson of Living Faith Community Church officiating.
