Obituary of W. Ross Hall

Hall, William Ross (Pete) of Rodney, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital after a brief but valiant battle with cancer, at the age of 79. Ross was the beloved husband and best- friend of Betty (Fowler-See) and the devoted and caring step-father of her children; Richard (Jean) Fowler of Sudbury; Michael (Joanne) Fowler of Port Perry; Randy (Bev) Fowler of St. Thomas; Brenda (Denis) Lamarche of Welland and Robert (Carole) Fowler of St.Thomas. He also leaves behind his children: Judy, Nancy, Sally, Susan, Joseph, Cindy, Julie, Tony, Tracey, Robin and Willy and his brothers Clayt (Jeanne); Cliff (Marie) and Earl (Carol) of Morpeth; and his many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will also be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, brother-in-law Larry (Sue) See of Port Stanley and sister-in-law Donna (Jack) Nostadt of Maidstone. Predeceased by his parents William and Frances (Caron), brothers Eugene and Clint (Doris); his son Danny (1968) and his daughter Fransi (1961). He was always happiest spending time in Gods' great outdoors; camping, fishing or hunting with his family. Cremation has taken place and the cremated remains were interred in Morpeth Cemetery after the service on Saturday, June 3rd, 2006 at McKinlay Funeral Home in Ridgetown with Pastor Robert Karn officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Morpeth Cemetery Fund or Calvary United Church, Rodney through the McKinlay Funeral Home, Ridgetown, Ontario N0P 2C0.
