ELLWOOD: A resident of Chatham, Stanley Francis Ellwood died at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Sunday May 14, 2006 at the age of 84. Born in Windsor, son of the late Amos and Cecile (Emery) Ellwood. Beloved husband of Jean Ellwood of Chatham. Loving father of Gary Ellwood (Willa), Chatham; Darlene Liebert, Chatham; Barbara Demers (Dennis), Windsor; Randy Ellwood, Chatham; Connie Wrotkowski, Chatham; Mark Ellwood (Annette), Chatham; and the late Gayle Lloyd (1995) and Janice Eves (1996). Fondly remembered by their mother Gladys Ellwood of Chatham. Step-father of Donna Buschemeyer (Steven), Chatham; Gloria Longstreet (Paul), Sault Ste. Marie; Linda Newton (Laurie), Edmonton, Alberta; Patricia Trottier, Sault Ste. Marie; Fred Labadie (Joyce), Sault Ste. Marie; and Theresa Planty (Richard), Norfolk, New York. Much loved by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Brother of Bill Ellwood (Evelyn), Windsor; Gordon Ellwood (Gladys), Windsor; Norma Voros, Windsor; Violet Robert (Van), Windsor; Gladys Richards (John), Windsor; Gloria Hiscott (Bob), High River, Alberta; and the late Florence Minello, Theresa Reeves, Harry, Oliver, Walter, Russell, Pearl, and Margaret Ellwood. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Stanley was a member of Living Faith Community Church. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Wednesday 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at Living Faith Community Church, 530 Victoria Avenue, Chatham on Thursday May 18, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Andrew Nelson officiating.
