DERUITER: A resident of Chatham. Ann DeRuiter died suddenly at her home on Thursday March 16, 2006 at the age of 75. Born in Grijpskerk, The Netherlands daughter of the late Libbe and Wietske (Van Dyk) Hazenberg. Beloved wife of George DeRuiter of Chatham and the late Harm Lucas Dekens (1986). Dear mother of Lena & Peter VanDyke, Chatham; Marg & Ted Postma, Chatham; Faye & Dave Van Kesteren, Chatham; Clarence & Ingrid Dekens, Clinton; and Leroy & Patricia Dekens, Telkwa, B.C. Grandmother of 20 and Great Grandmother of 15. Sister of Henry & Marion Hazenberg, Chatham; Coba & Marcus Kryger, Smithers, B.C.; and the late Wiemer Hazenberg and infant sister Antje Hazenberg. Sister-in-law of Ena Hazenberg, Holland. Step-mother of Harry & Cathy DeRuiter; John & Clare DeRuiter; Dave & Linda DeRuiter and Pete & Elaine DeRuiter all of Collingwood. Step-Grandmother of 7. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Sunday March 19, 2006 from 2:00 – 4:30 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated at First Christian Reformed Church, Tweedsmuir, East, Chatham on Monday March 20, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
