Obituary of Clara Clark

CLARK: Clara (nee Bechard) - A resident of Blenheim, Clara Clark passed away in her home, peacefully on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the age of 84. Born in Pain Court, Clara was the daughter of the late Leo and Edna (Therrien) Bechard. Beloved wife of the late Tom Clark (1976). Loving mother of Michael Clark (Monica) of Chatham, Lynn Clark (Jerry Wilcox) of R.R. # 1 Blenheim and Anne Clark-Warr (Bruce) of Hamilton. Best friend of 40 years to Doreen Lefaive. Proud grandmother of Emily Robert (Scott) of Blenheim and Marshall Burgoyne (Karen Brush) of Blenheim. Great-grandmother "Gubby" of Aislynn Robert and Cohen Robert. Dear sister to Dorothy Bloomstein (late Joe) of Chatham, Theresa Lucio (late Doug) of Mt. Brydges, Joan Lucio (late Hank) of Blenheim, Roger Bechard (Geraldine) of Pain Court and Pauline Mortier (late Gary) of Chatham. Sister-in-law to Janet Bechard. Predeceased by her brothers Victor Bechard (late Jean) and Leo Bechard. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Clara loved to be around her family and friends, whether kicking their 'pocketbook' at Aces to Kings or going with them to the meat draws at the Blenheim Legion. She will be remembered for her witty sense of humour, her kind heart and her infectious smile. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. with The Rev. David Fuller officiating. Cremation has taken place. An interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
