WILLARD: Dalton S. A resident of R.R. # 3 Chatham, died at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Sunday December 18, 2005 at the age of 81. Born on October 22, 1924, son of the late Arthur and Edna (Henderson) Willard. Beloved husband of Doreen (Cosier) Willard. Loving father of Mark & Catherine Willard of London, Scott & Terry Willard of Burlington, Dale & Charlene Willard of Mississauga, and Brian & Rhonda Willard of Trenton. Proud grandfather of Amy & Andy Montgomery of Burlington, Jeremy Willard of Mississauga, Amanda, Michael, Trevor and Olivia Willard, all of Burlington, Jason Willard of Wellington, Pamela Willard of Mississauga, Ashley and Tyler Willard of Trenton. Cherished great grandfather of Connor Montgomery. Brother of Norma Moug of Prescott, Veita & Les Hutton of Spencerville, Wilma & Dalton Smith of Morrisburg, Les & Bev Willard of Brockville, Doris & Arnold Serviss of Ingersoll, Carl & Joan Willard of Delta, and the late Audrey Okum, Gerald Willard and Gladwyn Willard. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Dalt served in WWII as a wireless operator with R.C.A.F., stationed in England. He graduated from University of Guelph, subsequently serving as Ontario Sales Manager with Shurgain Feeds for many years, retiring to Chatham. Dalt was well known and respected in the agrifood industry. He actively attended Gregory Drive Alliance Church. Dalt will be remembered for his love of family and friends, and for his keen sense of humour. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Gregory Drive Alliance Church, 255 Gregory Drive West, Chatham, on Wednesday December 21, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Gideon Bibles are gratefully acknowledged by the family.
