CAMERON: Olive 'Jean' (nee Slocombe) - A resident of Blenheim, Jean Cameron passed away with family present at the Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the age of 91. Born in Blenheim, Jean was the daughter of the late Fred and Florence (Vye) Slocombe. Beloved wife of 53 years to her late husband Gerald 'Jerry' Cameron (2003). Dear sister to Marie Laurie (late Gordon) of Blenheim. Predeceased by her two brothers Charles and Jim (Anne) Slocombe. Sister-in-law to Doreen Dalton (late Carl) and Caroline Burk (Mike), Arnold Cameron and the late Livona Bembridge (late Les). Special aunt to Liz Butler (Murray) of Ridgetown, Paul Laurie of Shrewsbury and Peter Laurie (Chrissie) of Blenheim. Predeceased by her special niece Joyce Laurie. Dear aunt to Byron Stoehr (Sharon), Pat Bennett (Jim), their children Brandon and Sarah;and the late Wayne Stoehr (Deb). Special grandma to Stephanie (Jeff), their children Kyrsten and Cameron; Carrie (Lucky), and their children Kylie and Luke. Much loved great aunt to Spencer and Arden. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Jean was a Charter Member of the Blenheim Women of the Moose for 65 years. She will be remembered for her gentle and caring nature.
